Award-winning digital marketing agency ZOMA has announced its third annual Daffodil Day fundraiser, set to take place at their Park Street headquarters in Dundalk, on Friday 20 March 2026, from 7:00am to 8:00pm

Following the monumental success of previous years, the team is raising the bar with the "1300KM for Daffodil Day" challenge, aiming to collectively cycle, row, and ski the equivalent distance from Dundalk to Copenhagen.

Building on the momentum of their 2025 event, which raised a staggering €16,023 for the Irish Cancer Society, ZOMA says it is determined to continue its mission of high-impact community support. This year’s challenge will once again transform the rooftop of their Park Street headquarters into an arena for a worthy cause.

To reach the 1,300KM goal, ZOMA has expanded its ‘engine room’ to include five Erg machines: three bikes, one ski-erg, and one rowing machine. Participants and teams will work together throughout the day to chip away at the distance.

"We are incredibly proud of how this event has grown in the past 2 years. Raising over €16,000 last year genuinely blew us all away," said David Kieran, Managing Director of ZOMA.

"We wanted to push ourselves even further this time around, so we’ve upped the stakes to 1,300KM. It’s a massive distance to cover in one day, but with more machines on the roof and the local teams getting behind us, I know we can hit the target and raise a serious amount for the Irish Cancer Society."

ZOMA is inviting teams of five to compete for the "Team of the Year" award. The team that covers the most kilometres during their session will win a set of unique jerseys to highlight their win and also five €100 holiday vouchers to put towards a break away from the rain. It is a prime opportunity for local companies to test their fitness, build team morale, and support a vital cause.

The 2026 event promises to be the biggest yet. In addition to the main challenge, the day will feature live entertainment, refreshments, and a competitive edge for local businesses and groups.

Whether you're a seasoned athlete or simply looking to contribute to a worthy cause, ZOMA encourages everyone to participate in the event.

ZOMA says it is passionate about supporting the Irish Cancer Society's vital work. The funds raised will directly benefit the charity's efforts to provide free support services, information, and resources to cancer patients and their families across Ireland.
