The death has occurred of Rosie Woods (née Byrne) of Coventry, England and formerly of Drumgoolestown, Stabannon, Co Louth / Ballybofey, Co Donegal
Peacefully, on Sunday 8 February 2026. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Bridget and brother Pat. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband Robert, daughter Laura and sons Steven, Paul and George, son-in-law Ryan and daughters-in-law Sarah, Kelly and Emma, brothers Tommy and Harry, adored grandchildren and great-grandson, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends in England, Stabannon and Donegal.
Rosie’s funeral will take place in Coventry on Thursday, the 5th of March 2026.

The death has occurred of Ambrose Ferguson of Muchgrange, Greenore, Cooley, Co Louth
Peacefully, in the gentle and dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by his son Henry, parents Dan and Margaret, his brothers Patsy and Danny and his sisters Mary (who died in infancy), Kay, Josie and Phil. Beloved husband of Marion, dear father of Donal, Ambrose Jnr, Therese and Caitrion and brother of Gerard.
He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughters, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, brother, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his home, Muchgrange, Greenore, on both Thursday and Friday, February 19 and 20 from 3pm-9pm. Removal on Saturday to the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Boher, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired online to the Irish Heart Foundation. House private on Saturday morning please. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes.
