An amateur kickboxer who said he “lost all control” and stomped on his 62-year-old mother's skull after she threatened to kill him was found not guilty of her murder but guilty of manslaughter by a Central Criminal Court jury.
The Government has confirmed the expansion of the Emergency Humanitarian Flooding Scheme (EHFS) to support small businesses and community, voluntary and sporting organisations in Louth affected by severe flooding.
Louth County Council has not issued a fine for uncollected household bins over four years despite concerns being raised by councillors that bins were not being collected, with some households also not having a waste disposal provider.
