The death has occurred of Blaise McArdle of "Oleron", Rath, Ardee Road, Dundalk, Louth
On January 29th, 2026 surrounded by his loving family after a brave battle against cancer. He will be deeply and forever missed by his adoring mother Fidelma, his siblings Simon, Sallie, Fidelma, Philip and Francis, along with his nieces and nephews Monique, Michael, Fionn, Cillian, Cian, Ellie and Zara and great nephew Dáithí, brother-in-law Michael, sister-in-law Mandy, uncles, aunties, cousins and friends, especially Brian Og. Predeceased by his grandparents, uncles and father Frank McArdle and brother-in-law Carl.
Reposing at the family home from 2pm on Saturday 31 January. House private at all other times, please. Removal on Sunday 1 February, at 2.30pm to St. Patrick's Cathedral, arriving for Funeral Mass at 3pm. Family flowers only please. The death has occurred of Patrick (Pat) Byrne of Mooremount, Dunleer, Co Louth
In his 97th year, peacefully at home, surrounded by his family. Pat, beloved husband of Martie (née Gargan) and loving father of Patrick, Antoinette, Denise and Yvonne. Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Alice, brother Jim and sisters Molly, Teasy, Mona, Josie, Kathleen and Clare.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, son, daughters, daughter-in-law Eilish, sons-in-law Albert, James and Peter, grandchildren Niamh, Jack, Ciara, Michaela, Roísin, Kelsey, Tori, Tia, Emmet, Sara and Shane, his three great-grandchildren, sisters Olive, Vera and Eileen, sister-in-law-Margaret, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Repsoing at his home on Saturday from 2pm until 8pm. Removal on Sunday afternoon to Saint Brigid’s Church, Dunleer arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in Dromin Cemetery. House private on Sunday please.

Beloved and cherished daughter of Maureen Short. Predeceased by her father Joe and her baby brother Martin Joseph. Una will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her mother, cousins, the extended Short and Duffy families, her friends, neighbours, and by all who knew and loved her.

Peacefully, at home. Predeceased by his beloved wife Ann (née Keenan), parents Richard (Dick) and Mary, brother Richie, twin sister Mary and nieces Siobhán and Lynn. Removal from the funeral home on Saturday at 1.30pm, proceeding on foot from his home to St. Joseph's Church, Castletown arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
