The death has occurred of Patsy (Red) McCabe of Emer Terrace, Castletown Road, Dundalk, Co Louth
Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, in his 93rd year. Partner of the late Bridget Myles and son of the late Patsy and Kathleen. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing daughter Serena, son-in-law Francis, grandsons Shane, Tiernan and Aaron, sisters Peggy and Kathleen, brother-in-law Michael, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk on Thursday 29 January from 3pm-8pm. Removal on Friday 30 January, proceeding on foot to St. Nicholas’ Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm, followed by cremation. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes.

The death has occurred of Sheila O'Brien (née Marry) of Loughantarve, Knockbridge, Co Louth
On Wednesday 28 January 2026, in her 97th year, in the wonderful care of Cairn Hill Nursing Home, Bray. Sheila, beloved wife of the late James (Dec 2000), dear mother of Ann and Martina, loving granny of Laura, Conor, Jamie, Tom and Ted and sister of the late Pat, Olive, Nicholas, Nancy and Brendan. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Billy and Dermot, sister-in-law Bridget, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
Reposing at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn St., Dundalk from 3pm until 7pm on Friday. Removal on Saturday morning from the Funeral home, via her home to St. Mary’s Church, Knockbridge, arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery. Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Louth County Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved wife Claire and parents Michael and Mary. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing sons and daughter Paul, Michael, Aidan, Elaine, Kevin and Ciaran, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren Emmet, Ciara, James, Cian, Shane, Oisín, Aoidhe, Niall, Olivia and Cliodhna, sister Maureen, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
