The death has occurred of Noel Clarke of Littlemills, Kilkerley., Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, on Sunday 25 January 2026 in the wonderful care of St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, surrounded by his heartbroken family. Noel, son of the late Vincent and Mary, loving husband of Margaret née Dooley, dear father of Paul (Eilish née Freeman), Donal (Judy née Conroy), Colm (Eimear née Rooney), Andrew (Ausra née Dobrovolskaite) and Ciaran (Laura née Crimmins), devoted grandad of Katie, Aoife, Cillian, Mark, Sean, Ema, James, Grace, Sadie, Nanci, Jack , Isabelle, and Mollaí, and brother of Anne, Margaret, Pat, Briege.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, grandchildren, brother, sister’s, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law,Sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home from 12noon on Tuesday. One way system in operation, entering from the Carrick Road, exit by the Knockbridge Road. House private on Wednesday morning. Removal on Wednesday morning to The Church of the Immaculate Conception Kilkerley, arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donation’s to St. Francis Hospice Blanchardstown. All enquires to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals.

The death has occurred of Dymphna Bannon (née Hughes) of Saint Mochta’s Corner, Louth Village and late of Castlebellingham, Co Louth

Suddenly, at home. Dympna will be sadly missed by her son Thomas, daughter Saidhbhe, daughter-in-law Heather, brothers Finbar and Patrick, sisters Noeleen, Briege and Annette, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. 

Reposing at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer, on Wednesday from 5pm until 8pm. A private cremation will follow. No flowers please. House private please.

The death has occurred of Mary (Máire ní Gamhna) Gaffney (née McConnell) of Rockfield Park and formerly of Hale Street, Ardee, Co Louth

Peacefully, on Sunday 25 January 2026 under the loving care of the wonderful staff of Moorehall Lodge, Ardee. Predeceased by her husband Edmund, her parents Thomas and Bridget, her sisters Margaret, Teresa, Nuala, Annie and Delia.

She will be sadly missed by her much loved and devoted children sons Seamus, Conall and Eamonn and daughters Maura and Siobhán, daughters-in-law Catherine and Oonagh and son-in-law Eddie, her cherished grandchildren Aisling, Fiona, Cian, Eimear, Conor and Saoirse, great-grandchildren Evie, Savanna, Ezekiel, Reuben, Sorcha, Éabha,

Reposing at Finlay's Funeral Home, Tierney Street, Ardee, on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral home private on Wednesday morning please. Removal on Wednesday leaving Finlay's Funeral Home at 9:45am on foot to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady Ardee arriving for 10am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Ballapousta Cemetery.
