Louth councillor, Sinn Féin's Cllr Antóin Watters, has shared an update received on Wednesday evening on the Proposed Dundalk Bay to Carlingford Greenway.

According to the update shared by Cllr Watters, which can be viewed on the project website, "the project team intend to offer availability for interested people / groups who may wish to attend a high-level overview of the project in a group setting of up to 30 people, subject to public interest and suitable dates and venues."

Cllr Watters' update continued, "This high-level overview will consist of the same presentation/material with a Q/A session, lasting approx. 45mins – 1hr, which was given to the Elected Representatives in November (coinciding with the launch of the Non-Statutory Public Consultation 3).

"Sessions will consist of approx. 15-20min of a presentation with a Q/A thereafter; however individual properties queries, etc, will not form part of the overall open discussion and the public should still avail of the communication channels already open to them since Nov., i.e. telephone, online or one-to-one meetings as per the website, to discuss these.

"The Public or groups can register their interest with the project team as per the website contact details and subject to numbers, dates, etc, be assigned to a group session.

"Any groups or individuals who would like to avail of a group session on a high-level overview, please contact the project team at the following: Email: DundalkCarlingfordGreenway@rod.ie; Phone: 087 601 1384 – project Liaison officer."

The Dundalk-Carlingford councillor added, "I am happy to help set up and attend these meeting. If you would like any assistance do not hesitate to contact me on 0874165157".
