Beautiful South singer returns to Dundalk Gaol

Briana Corrigan of The Beautiful South will make a very welcome return visit to the Oriel Centre, Dundalk Gaol on Saturday 21 February

Briana Corrigan of The Beautiful South is set to make a very welcome return visit to the Oriel Centre, Dundalk Gaol on Saturday 21 February 2026.
Belfast born Corrigan is best known for delivering Beautiful South’s most successful single, the chart topping No1 Brit award winning A Little Time, where her unique vocal and Paul Heaton’s brilliantly acerbic lyrics and catchy melody combined to create an unforgettable anthem to broken love.
As a songwriter in her own right, Corrigan has released two critically acclaimed solo albums.
This will be a glorious opportunity to hear Briana Corrigan up close and personal as she entertains with an evening of story and song.
The last time she performed in the Oriel Centre she brought the house down with the Beautiful South songs, especially when she duetted with an audience member and then brought them up to date with her own solo releases.
If you are a Beautiful South fan you will not want to miss this performance. Tickets are €30 and are available from www.orielcentre.ie
It is one of a number of exciting events coming up at the Oriel Centre over the next couple of months. Cork indie legends The Frank and Walters are all set to make a welcome return on Saturday 7 February.
The Frank and Walters originally became world famous on the ‘90s indie scene and have produced seven studio albums. Thanks to the cult comedy show ‘The Young Offenders’, the band captured a whole new audience when their hit single ‘After All’ featured in the infamous ‘Billy Murphy’ bus hijack scene.
Closer still, Tolu Makay appears this Saturday 17th January. Tolu first came to national prominence when she covered the Saw Doctors classic 'N17' with the RTE Concert Orchestra on RTE 1's New Years Eve show in 2021 and has since been in high demand for performance all over Ireland, UK and the USA as well appearances on The Late Late Show, The Tommy Tiernan Show, Insights with Seán O'Rourke and a recent hugely entertaining interview with Oliver Callan on RTE Radio 1.

Further down the line, The 4 Of Us take to the stage of the Oriel Centre for the first time on Saturday 11 April.

The 4 Of Us have been captivating audiences for over three decades with their soulful melodies and compelling lyrics.

Brothers Brendan & Declan Murphy will perform the highlights of their award-winning career and it will be a chance to hear Mary, Washington Down, She Hits Me, and many more classics as well a material from their recent album Cresent Nights.

Tickets for all these shows are available from the Oriel Centre reception and online at www.orielcentre.ie.
