The death has occurred of Eddie Clarke of St. Nicholas Avenue and formerly Hyde Park, Dundalk, Co Louth
Passed away peacefully in St. James Hospital on Sunday 11 January 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents William and Annie, brothers and sisters Patrick, Collette, William, May, James, Sheila, Molly, Oliver, Benny and Noleen. Beloved and devoted husband of Briege (née Farrell) and dear father of Jacqueline, Roger, Virginia, Eamonn, Charmaine and Michelle.
Eddie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, partners, adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Geraldine McArdle, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, and wonderful neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Shevlin’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street on Thursday from 2pm to 8pm. House strictly private at all times. Removal on Friday morning at 10.40am on foot to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Passed away peacefully on 23 December 2025 in London. Martin beloved son of Teresa and the late Patrick and brother of Simon, Linda and the late Andrew. Martin will be sadly missed by his mother, brother, sister, nephews, nieces, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, uncles, aunts, relatives and friends.

Passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of Silver Stream Nursing Home on Monday 12 January 2026, with her loving family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Gerard (Jock), parents Martin and Mary, brother Desmond, sister Fidelma Cassidy, niece Elaine, and sister-in-law and close friend Margie. Beloved and dear sister of Martin, Michael, Frances McGeough, Fergus, Dolores Shields and Kenneth.

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Castleross Nursing Home, Carrickmacross on Tuesday 13 January 2026. Celli son of the late Leo and Mary, much loved husband of Aileen, dear father of Ciaran, Niamh and the late Niall, devoted grandad of Amy, Chloe, David, Cian, Celli, Aaron and Emily and brother of Harry, Kitty, Mary and the late Julia. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughter, grandchildren, brother, sisters, son-in-law Shane, daughters-in-law Rose and Rosarie, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
