May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Betty) Houston of Thomas Street, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, in the loving care of Blackrock Abbey Nursing Home, on Wednesday 7 January 2026. Betty, loving daughter of the late Patrick and Constance, dear sister of the late Stephen and Peter and sister-in-law of Joan and the late Eileen. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing in McGeoughs Funeral Home from 9.30am on Thursday morning. Funeral Mass will then take place at 11am in Funeral home. The cortege will then drive via Thomas Street to St. Patrick’s Cemetery for burial. All enquires to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers McGeoughs Funerals.

The death has occurred of Mary McCourt (née Baylon) of Townspark, Ardee, Co Louth

Unexpectedly, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on Wednesday 7 January 2026. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Molly, brothers Johnny, Barney and Patrick, sisters Maggie and Josie. She will be sadly missed by her much loved and devoted husband Frankie, sons Frank, Stephen and Denis, daughters-in-law Cora, Elaine and Ruth, her cherished grandchildren Jamie, Nicola, Jack, Conor, Lauren, Aisling, Cathal, Donnacha and Caoimhe, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and good friends.

Reposing at Finlay Funeral Home, Tierney Street, Ardee, Co. Louth on Thursday from 4pm to 7pm and on Friday from 3pm to 7pm. House strictly private at all times please. Removal on Saturday morning from Townspark to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee arriving for 10am funeral mass. Burial afterwards in Ballapousta Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Francis McGee of Foxbrook, Ratoath, Co Meath and late of Racecourse Road, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, in the kind and loving care of the staff at Richmond ICU in Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his father Leonard, survived by his mother Rose, his wife Nicola and sons Paraig, Eoghan and Oisín, his brother Paraig and sisters Oonagh and Marie. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, and all who knew him.

Strictly house private. Funeral arrangements later.
