Dundalk Train Station
Iarnród Éireann has announced that late night trains serving Dundalk will operate Thursdays to Saturdays over next three weekends, and on New Year's Eve.
Late night DART and Commuter services are set to operate from this Thursday 4 December on the weekends in the run-up to Christmas.
This year, late night services will operate on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. The services will operate across the DART network, as well as Commuter services to Dundalk, as well as to Maynooth and Kildare (via the Phoenix Park Tunnel).
The full schedule of DART and Commuter services on Thursday 4, Friday 5 & Saturday 6 December; Thursday 11, Friday 12 & Saturday 13 December; and Thursday 18, Friday 19 & Saturday 20 December is as follows:

Late night services will also operate after New Year’s festivities in Dublin city centre, approximately one hour later than pre-Christmas late night services, with full details available on the Iarnród Éireann website www.irishrail.ie and app (note for journeys departing after midnight on journey planner, they will be displayed on the next date: e.g. 00:30 on night of Thursday 18th will be displayed on Friday 19th).
Fares will be charged at normal rates, meaning customers can use Leapcard and buy cash fares for the best value Christmas travel option.
Furthermore, weekly, monthly and annual season tickets are valid on late night services, so season ticket holders will be able to use the services at no extra charge.
Late night services will have security personnel on board to ensure customer safety.
