Dundalk Carlingford Greenway third Public Consultation now open

The Public Consultation 3 - Display Material includes an interactive map of the Emerging Preferred Route Corridor

Louth County Council's third Public Consultation in relation to the planned Dundalk Bay to Carlingford Greenway opened this week for submissions, with information on the Emerging Preferred Route Corridor, including an interactive map, is now available to view.

The local authority, in conjunction with Transport Infrastructure Ireland, is inviting all stakeholders, landowners, members of the public and interested parties to participate in this third public consultation on the Emerging Preferred Route Corridor.

Louth County Council says that for those who wish to discuss any aspects of the Emerging Preferred Route Corridor, the following communication channels are available during the Public Consultation:

  • Telephone Call: Between 9:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Online Meetings: Available on request. Meetings will take place using Web Facilities.
  • Physical Meetings: For those who specifically wish to meet with the Project Team, in-person meetings can be facilitated. Group attendees will be limited to a maximum of four individuals per group. Pre-booking is essential for all calls/meetings. To book a callback or meetings, please contact the Project Liaison Officer between 9:30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday on 087 601 1384.

The deadline for submissions in relation to the material presented at this consultation is 23rd January 2026.
