An Irish wedding has gone viral as an unexpected guest turned up to celebrate the special day in the church - and it's all thanks to a Louth-based photographer Fra Lucchesi.

A happy couple from Westmeath were tying the knot in Castletown, Geoghegan, when a small mouse appeared from under the flowers at the alter.

In the video, the priest can be heard giving the sermon while Dundalk photographer, Fra Lucchesi, films the tiny guest as runs across the altar and down the steps.

The bride and groom, fortunately seeing the funny side, can be seen in the video stifling their laughs along with other guests.

Fra Lucchesi, who runs the Town Studio in Dundalk, said: "It was a first for me. We are defintely sharing this planet.

"This little unexpected guest made the difference. We all had a great laugh about it."
