May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Mary Capplis of The Square, Blackrock, Co Louth

Peacefully at home, on Tuesday 28 October 2025. Mary, beloved daughter of the late Ray and Noreen, dear sister of John and Seamus, aunt of Conor, John and Jennifer, sister-in-law of Kathryn and Anna and niece of Colette (God-Mother), Pauline and Theresa. Mary will be sadly missed by her brothers, nephews, niece, sisters-in-law, cousins, relatives, colleagues in Local Government Management Agency, (Dublin) and friends.

Reposing at her brother Seamus’s home, 44 Rathmount, Seafield Road, Blackrock, from 3pm until 7pm on Saturday. Removal on Sunday afternoon to St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Blackrock arriving for Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in St. Fursey’s Cemetery, Haggardstown. All enquiries to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals, Jocelyn Street.

The death has occurred of Elizabeth Allen (née McArdle) of The Moorings, 7 Marlmount, Sandfield Gardens, Blackrock, Co Louth/ Dundalk, Co Louth

Beloved wife and best friend of Frank, and devoted mother of Richard, Philip and Killian. Elizabeth will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, sons, their partners Kingsley, Nicola and Samantha, her treasured grandchildren Charlie, Isabelle, Alfie, Sebastian and Alex, dear sisters Jean, Frances and Siobhan, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, a wide circle of friends and neighbours, and all whose lives she touched.

Reposing at her home on Wednesday from 2.00pm to 8.00pm. House strictly private at all other times.
Removal on Thursday afternoon at 12.30 to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 1 o’clock, followed by burial in Haggardstown Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Niall E. Kehoe, Dixon’s Funeral Directors.
