The death has occurred of Mary Kneel (née Kelly) of Tankardsrock, Kilkerley, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Saturday 25 October 2025. Mary, beloved wife of the late James, dear mother of Francis, Paul and the late James (April 1990), loving grandmother of Jason, James, Stephen, Clodagh and Sinéad and sister of Margaret. She will be sadly missed by her loving sons, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Geraldine, Francis’s partner Bernie, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. 

Reposing at her son Paul’s home, Tankardstrock, Kilkerley, from 2pm until 8pm on Monday. Removal on Tuesday afternoon to, The Church of the Immaculate Conception Kilkerley arriving for Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery. All enquiries to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals, Jocelyn Street.

The death has occurred of Emma Leonard (née Byrne) of Dunleer, Louth

Devoted wife to Michael, loving mother to Cara and Shea. Daughter to Mary and Paddy. Twin sister to Mark, sister-in-law to Carmel, sister to Robert. Godmother to Senan. Granddaughter to Breda Boylan. Daughter-in-law to Michael and Marie Leonard, sister-in-law to Elaine, Linda, Barry, Gerard, a treasured aunt and niece, and all the extended Byrne, Leonard and Boylan families and a friend to so many.  

Repsoing at her home on Monday from 2pm until 7pm and on Tuesday from 4pm until 8pm. A Funeral Mass celebrating Emma's life will be held on Wednesday morning at 11am in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tenure, Co Louth. Burial afterwards in Mullary Cemetery. House private on Wednesday morning please. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Palliative Care, Dochas Centre, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

The death has occurred of Collette McCabe of Mullaharlin Park, Dundalk and formerly of Sea View, Annagassan, Co Louth

Peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Saturday 25 October 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her grandparents Tim and Vera Feely and Peter and Mary McCabe. Beloved and cherished daughter of Gerry and Una, loving mother of Nicole and dear sister of Mary. Collette will be forever loved and missed by her heartbroken parents, daughter, sister, adored niece Kellie, beloved Gizmo, aunts, uncle, cousins, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Shevlin’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street on Monday from 3pm to 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.40am on foot to St Joseph’s Redemptorist Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock followed by burial in Dromin Cemetery. Enquiries to Shevlin’s Funeral Home.

The death has occurred of Anne McCabe (née McCullough) of Oriel Terrace, Dundalk and formerly Trinity Gardens, Drogheda, Co Louth

Peacefully at her home, in the tender care of her family on Sunday 26 October 2025. Predeceased by her beloved husband Michael, parents Margaret and John, sisters May and Margaret, brothers Sean, Dan, Bill, Eddie, nephews Brian, Padraig and Seamus, and niece Marise. Loving mother of Michelle, John and Stephen.

Deeply missed and remembered with love by her daughter, sons, adored grandchildren Amy, Erin and Kaia, nephews and nieces Linda, John, Suzanne, Brenda and Danny McCullough and Breda, Brona, Sean, Michael and Fergal McCabe extended family relatives, neighbours and many friends near and far.

Reposing at her residence, Oriel Terrace on Monday and Tuesday from 3pm to 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.40am on foot to St. Patrick’s Cathedral arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Enquiries to Shevlin’s Funeral Home.

The death has occurred of Jan Murphy (née McCabe) of Cedarwood Park, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff in Boyne One West, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on Sunday 26 October 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Michael, parents Peter and Dinah, sister Mary and brother Paddy. Loving Mum of Nuala, Liam, Michael, Peter, Gráinne (Boland), Janet (Rafferty), Anthony, Eamonn and Ronan. Adored Nanny of Keith, Hannah, Ben, Jessica, Abby, Ella, Kate, Finn, Rowan, Isabel, Michael, James, Holly and Lily.

Missed by her heartbroken daughters and sons, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Sinéad, Linda, Shirley, Ruth and Joanne, sons-in-law Niall, Jody and Bruce, sisters Dinah and Betty (USA), brothers Peter, Brian and Eamonn, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, close friend Anne Morgan and all of her wonderful friends and neighbours.

Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk on Monday 27 October from 3pm-8pm. Reposing for family and close friends only at her home on Tuesday. Removal from her home on Wednesday to the Church of the Holy Redeemer arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Patient Care Fund for Boyne East/West Ward, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes on.

The death has occurred of Mary Walsh of Courtbane Hackballscross, Dundalk, Co Louth

On 25 October 2025, peacefully at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda. Beloved daughter of the late John & Brigid Walsh and also predeceased by her cherished siblings James, Pat, John, Mick, Brigid (Duffy), Margaret & Mary Agnes. Dear aunt of Michael, Peter, Noeleen, John, Josie & Pamela. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing nephews, nieces, extended Walsh family, neighbours & many friends in Shelagh.

Reposing at her late residence at Courtbane, Hackballscross until her removal on Monday evening at 5:15pm to The Church Of The Sacred Heart, Shelagh arriving for 5:30pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday 28 October at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. Enquiries to Mc Conville Funeral Directors.
