Lotto celebrations are underway across the country after an online player in Louth matched all six numbers in Saturday night’s Lotto draw, winning €7,129,505.
The Lotto player from the Wee County purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket online, on Friday, 17th October.
The winning numbers in last night’s (18th October) Lotto draw were: 6, 13, 14, 27, 35, 44 and the Bonus number was 47.
The online winner also becomes the 8th Lotto jackpot winner of 2025, joining a line-up from Dublin, Kerry, Limerick, Kilkenny, Mayo, Waterford, and now twice from Louth.
Emma Monaghan, spokesperson for the National Lottery said, “What a win for Co. Louth - a huge congratulations to our latest Lotto jackpot winner who has just scored an incredible €7,129,505. In total, over 90,000 players won prizes in the Lotto & Lotto Plus draws. We’re now urging all of our players to check their National Lottery accounts today to see if they’re our latest big winner!”
The National Lottery has confirmed that a notification and an email has been sent to the online player. The winner is advised to make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie to arrange the collection of your prize.
Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total, more than €6.5 billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 37 years ago. In 2024 alone, €239.3 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
