The death has occurred of Tommy Feraon of Proleek, Mountpleasant, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on Wednesday 8 October, 2025, following a short illness with his loving family by his side. Predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret, parents Michael and Eileen, brothers Micheál and Charlie and his sister Anna. Cherished Dad to Angela (Magennis), Cathal and Alice (Hoey). Adored Granda to Niamh, Dónal, Ronan and Ellie. Loved and sadly missed by his daughters, son, grandchildren, sons-in-law Ciaran and Gerard and Cathal's partner Trisha, his brothers Kevin, Martin and Gerard, sisters Mary, Sheila and Aileen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and wonderful friends.

Reposing at his home from 12 noon-8pm on Friday. Removal on Saturday at 10.20am, to St. Brigid’s Church, Kilcurry, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Family flowers only, please, donations, if desired, to the Irish Kidney Association. Enquiries to Quinn's Funeral Homes.

The death has occurred of Gerard (Gerry) Gonnelly of Meadow Grove, Dundalk, Co Louth

On Thursday 9 October 2025, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his adored eldest son Anthony, parents Jimmy and Dorothy and brother Anthony. Beloved and cherished husband of Annette (née Gray) of 63 years, and loving father of Jim, Gerard, Teresa and Bernard.

Greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, daughter, sons-in-law Darren and Paddy, daughters-in-law Julie, Anita, Cindy and Calvin’s mam Irene, his treasured grandchildren Leona, Hannah, Jane, Bea, Anthony, Natasha, Donna, Seámus, Gemma, Nicola, Pádraig, Turlough, Liam, Áine and Calvin, great-grandchildren, brothers Brian and Brendan, brothers and sisters-in-law, auntie Eithne Vernon, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, his many friends and great neighbours and by his former colleagues in An Post where he worked for 38years.

Reposing at his home, Meadow Grove on Friday from 6pm to 9pm, Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 9pm. Removal on Monday morning at 10.30am on foot to the entrance of Meadow Grove, then driving to St. Nicholas’ Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Enquiries to Shevlin’s Funeral Home.

The death has occurred of Rosetta Herr (née O'Neill) of Bothar Maol, Blackrock, Co Louth

Peacefully, in the wonderful care of Carlingford Nursing Home on Thursday 9 October 2025. Rosetta, much loved wife of the late Pádraig, dear mother of Ollan, Ciaran, Pádraig, Neal, Sally-Ann, Ultan, and Rosetta, loving granny of Niall, Aoife, Fiona, Dara, Gareth, Áine, Dualtagh, Rachael, Laura, Caoimhe, Siofra, Sadhbh, Gearóid, Cillian, Andrew, Michael, Ciara, Cian, Tara, Sarah and the late Brenna, great-granny of Adam, Fionn, Meabh, Cerys, Taevagh, Shay, Bonnie, Aubrey, Leo, Finn and Rosie and the late Oisín and Cuán, and sister of the late Nance, Kitty, Hugh, Thomas and Pat.

She will be sadly missed by her sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law Andy, daughters-in-law Mary, Bernie, Anna and Debra, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing will repose at her home from 2pm until 8pm on Saturday. Removal on Sunday afternoon to St. Oliver Plunkett Church, arriving for Mass at 2pm. Followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please. All enquires to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals.

The death has occurred of Mary McGuinness (née O’Hanlon) of Upper Fathom Road, Cloghoge, Newry, Co Armagh and formerly Ardán Gentili, Omeath, Co. Louth

Peacefully at home following a short illness. Predeceased by her husband Joe, infant daughter Mary Josephine and brothers Eddie and Gerry. Very deeply regretted by her children Sharon, Aaron and Anthony, brothers Peter and Hughie, grandchildren James, Marley, Orla, Ciara, Nathan, Bonnie and baby Réid, son-in-law Jim, daughters-in- law Patrice and Alannagh, brothers and sisters in law, Liam, John Rosaleen, Sr. Anne and Roslyn (Australia) and all her nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her residence at Upper Fathom Road for neighbours and friends to call from 4.00 pm - 9.00 pm Friday and from 2.00 pm - 9.00 pm Saturday. Removal on Sunday morning proceeding via Ardán Gentili to St. Laurence's Church, Omeath, , arriving for Mass at 10.00am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
