The death has occurred of Cormac Greene of Kingswood, Blackrock Road, Dundalk, Co Louth
Peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Tuesday 7 October 2025, with his loving family by his side. Predeceased by his parents Tommy and Rita, brother Donal and nephew Ryan. Beloved and devoted husband of Linda (née McGeown) and loving father of Jason and Vicky. Cormac will be deeply missed by his heartbroken wife, son, daughter, adored grandson Jacob, Jason’s partner Ceala, brothers Aidan and Niall, sister Fiona, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family relatives, neighbours, friends and all who knew and loved him.
Reposing at his home, Kingswood, on Thursday and Friday from 2pm to 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.30am on foot to the entrance of Kingswood, then driving to St. Patrick’s Cathedral arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Castletown. On Tuesday 7 October peacefully at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary, brother Tommy and sister Mary Bailey. John is remembered with love by his family, wife Gay, daughter Nicola, son Sean, son in-law Rory, daughter in-law Jan, his cherished grandchildren Sunny, Hugh, Liam, Eoin and Fleur, brother Denis, sister Terry Lewis, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends. Deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Reposing at Wards Funeral Home, Dublin Rd, Castleblayney on Friday 10 October from 4pm until 7pm. A celebration of John’s life will be held in Wards Funeral Home, Castleblayney on Saturday afternoon at 12:30pm followed by a private cremation. In his 99th year, peacefully at home. Colm, beloved husband of Eileen (née Byrne) and loving father of Paula (Kelleher), Valerie (Mullen) and Ursula (Mathews). Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Elizabeth, brothers Dick, Tom, Brendan, Fintan and Leo and sisters Bernadette and Eithne. Deeply regretted by his wife, daughters, sons-in-law Darren, John and Philip, grandchildren Eoin, Dáire, Páraic and Fionn, brother Desmond, sister Sr. Malachy FMSA and a wide circle of relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer, on Friday from 4pm followed by removal to St Brigid’s Church, Dunleer for Evening Prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Dromin Cemetery. House private please.

Brigid, beloved wife of the late Thomas, dear mother of Sheila, Attracta, Veronica, John, Bernadette and Stephen, loving grandmother Daryl, Shane, Sheena, Roisin, Mairead, Siobhan, Shauna, Kevin, Aaron, Eoin, Cian, Grainne, Eilish, Sheila and Connor, great-granny of Cianan, Caitlyn, Ryan, Zachery, Saorisa, Sean, Stella, Archie, Rubin, Rowan, Sybil, Bonnie Cillan, Clodagh, Freya, Brynn, Scarlett and Eamon and sister of Nora and late Maureen, Eileen, Theresa, Florie, Pat, Joe and Sheila.
Brigid will be sadly missed by her sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law John, Ray, Sam, Declan, daughters-in-law Jacinta and Eve, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street, from 3pm until 7pm on Friday. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.30 via Moortown, to St. Peter’s Church, Dromiskin, arriving for Mass at 11am.
