LEO Louth announces suite of supports to help local businesses

“Every business can benefit from improving efficiency, managing costs and embracing solutions,” according to Niall Gallagher of Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Louth. “Our All In A Day’s Work initiative is built around one clear idea, to help you make your business better.”

All In A Day’s Work offers a range of practical supports to help local companies become leaner, greener and more digitally competitive.

The team at LEO Louth, part of Louth County Council, are encouraging local businesses to apply for the All In A Day’s Work supports. Niall says, “whether your priority is streamlining processes, cutting energy costs or embracing new tools, our consultants will work with you to develop a plan that is tailored to your business needs.”

The Lean for Business programme has already proven its value to Louth businesses. Karen Matthews of Hoey’s DIY shared: “We were looking for ways to improve productivity and enhance quality. Lean has improved communication, transparency, and given us real-time reporting so we can keep customers up to date immediately.

"I would highly recommend any business to sign up – even if you think you’re doing everything right, Lean can help in so many ways.”

For those focused on sustainability, Green for Business is delivering measurable results. Mark Dearey of The Spirit Store outlines: “The grant supported us in upgrading our keg room and integrating our cooling systems. The benefits are twofold.

"Our projected savings over the coming year are approx. €3,000 in energy costs, and our CO₂ emissions will decrease by an estimated 3.6 tonnes. But the biggest value was the Green for Business Report. This has given us a customised roadmap to energy efficiency with plenty more actions to follow. I would highly recommend it.”

Niall concludes, “Our goal is simple. We want to help every business in Louth improve and thrive. The All In A Day’s Work suite of Lean, Green and Digital supports provides the tools and expertise to achieve that.”
