This week's Dundalk Democrat is in shops now, featuring: 

  • Kate O’Connor produced the performance of a lifetime over the weekend when she won a stunning silver medal for Ireland at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
  • Gardaí in Louth have announced increased patrols in Blackrock Park in the run-up to Halloween following growing concerns about anti-social behaviour and the use of fireworks by young people.
  • Cllr Declan Power has called on Louth County Council to install free sunscreen dispensers at all Blue Flag beaches in the county and in key public buildings, as part of a wider public awareness campaign on skin cancer prevention.
