The death has occurred of Raymond Breen of Castlering, Knockbridge, Co Louth

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on Monday 22 September 2025. Raymond beloved husband of Roisín nee Shields, loving father of Brigid, brother of Brigid, May, Kathleen, Anne, Alva and the late Oliver, Joey, Patsy, Ronan, Cissy, Eamon Brendan and Rose. Raymond will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn St on Tuesday from 3pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am in St Mary's Church, Knockbridge. Burial in adjoining Cemetery. The death has occurred of Dympna Hoey (née McCabe) of Williamstown, Castlebellingham, Co Louth and late of Fermanagh Terrace, Clones, Co Monaghan

In her 69th year, after a short illness bravely borne. Dympna, beloved wife of the late Anthony and loving mother of Niamh, Róisín, Aisling and Tiernan. Predeceased by her mother Dympna and her father Bernard. Deeply regretted by her son, daughters, Tiernan’s partner Ciara, sister Mary, brothers Pat, Brian and Eugene, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer on Wednesday from 4pm until 8pm and on Thursday from 2pm until removal to Saint Mary’s Church, Kilsaran, arriving for Evening Prayers at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, in lieu to Women’s Aid Dundalk. House strictly private please.​​​​​

The death has occurred of Sunny (Declan) Grimes of Cathedral View and formerly Boyle O'Reilly Terrace, Dundalk, Co Louth

Unexpectedly. Predeceased by his parents Barney Joe and Kathleen, granddaughter Layla Rose, brother-in-law Gerry Moran and nephew Séamus Moran. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Pauline, sons and daughters Paul, Declan, Catriona, Aaron and Alison, stepchildren Pairic and Susan, grandchildren, his daughters-in-law Nicola and Caroline, brothers Barney, Greg, twin brother Kieran and sisters Edith, Catriona and Anita and their partners, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Home, Dundalk on both Tuesday and Wednesday, September 23rd and 24th from 2pm-8pm. Removal on Thursday, September 25th at 10.30am, proceeding on foot to St. Nicholas’ Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
