The death has occurred of Myra Donnelly (née Friel) of Carroll Mead and formerly of Mounthamilton, Ardee Road, The Derryhale Hotel, Dundalk and Carndonagh, Co Donegal
Peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on 23 August 2025. Myra, beloved wife of the late Brendan, dear mother of Mary, sister of Joan, Frank, Helen, Rosemary, and the late Anne and Denis. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, brother, sisters, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Mc Geoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street, from 4pm until 6pm on Monday. Removal on Tuesday morning to St. Furseys Church, Haggardstown arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Carlingford. All enquiries to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals, Jocelyn Street, 042 9334283.

The death has occurred of Edith McCarron (née Flanagan) of Dawson Demesne, Ardee, Co Louth
Peacefully and surrounded by her family in Moorehall Lodge, Ardee, Co. Louth on Sunday 24 August 2025. Predeceased by her husband Sean, sister Kitty and brother Johnny. She will be sadly missed by her much loved and devoted family; Dessie, Theresa, Anne, Paul (Bobby) and Linda, her cherished grandchildren Stacey, Shaun, Kyle, Steven, David, Samanatha, and Jack, great-grandchild Rían, brother-in-law Nicholas, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and good friends.
Reposing at Finlay Funeral Home, Tierney Street, Ardee, Co. Louth on Monday from 4pm to 7pm. Removal on Tuesday, leaving from Finlay Funeral Home at 9:45am on foot to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee arriving for funeral mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in Collon Church of Ireland graveyard.

The death has occurred of Owen Rice of Oliver Plunkett Park, Dundalk, Co Louth
Owen, beloved husband of Susan and loving father of Jim, Joanne and Jennifer. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, son, daughters, daughter-in-law Michelle, sons-in-law Stephen and Fergal, grandchildren JJ, Jack, Oisín, Jasmine, Conan, Cara, Ayda and Donal, sister Olive Martin, brother-in-law John, his nephews, nieces, extended family and a wide circle of friends. He was predeceased by his parents Paddy and Phyllis.
Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk from 3pm-8pm on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Removal on Thursday to St. Nicholas’ Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes on 042 9334521.
