The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission says TK Maxx and Homesense has issued a recall on an Urban Balcony wooden deck chair
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) is advising members of the public that hundreds of Uber Balcony wooden deck chairs sold in Ireland are being recalled amid serious safety concerns.
In a public notice, they say the Urban Balcony deck chair was sold in TK Maxx and Homesense stores in Ireland between March 2025 to June 2025.
Due to the inadequate locking mechanism, it has emerged that some of the chairs may become unstable and collapse, which could result in injury.
The brand of the deck chair is Urban Balcony and the model number is 4330DECK.
