May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Seamus Connolly of Anne Street, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully on Saturday 9 August 2025 in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary and sister Deirdre. Seamus will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his sisters Kathleen O’Connell and Pauline McKenna, brother Sean, brothers-in-law Peter and Eugene, sister-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family relatives, neighbours and friends.

Removal from Shevlin’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, on Monday morning at 10.40am on foot to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church [A91WY98] arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock, followed by burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Enquiries to Shevlin’s Funeral Home 042 9339796.

The death has occurred of Sr. Dr. Miriam Duggan F.M.S.A of Mount Oliver Convent, Dundalk, Co Louth/ Limerick City, Co Limerick

Peacefully in the kind and gentle care of the staff in St. Francis’ Nursing Home Mount Oliver. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Moira and her brother Colm. Sr. Miriam will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sisters Áine Duggan, Eithne Kennedy, Sheila Phillipps and brother Bernard, her Franciscan Community, her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday 11 August, at 11:00am in the Convent Chapel Mount Oliver Dundalk, followed by burial in the community cemetery.
