New exhibition from Louth Craftmark Designers Network opens in Farmleigh

"Reveal, Conceal" is a new exhibition by the Louth Craftmark Designers Network, now open at The Cow Shed, Farmleigh, in the heart of the Phoenix Park until 15 August.
Spanning textiles, glass, jewellery, ceramics, print, sculpture, and painting, Reveal, Conceal brings together 25 Louth Craftmark artists to present a diverse body of new work. Across disciplines, each artist probes the space between presence and absence, the visible and the veiled—revealing hidden truths, inner worlds, and layered narratives.
From the layered transparencies of fused glass artist Aoife Burke, who uses iris imagery to explore life’s constant expansion and contraction, to the embroidered dreamscapes of Sinéad Gregory, whose figurative stitching traces the contours of memory and imagination—each work invites the viewer to pause and look beneath the surface.
Colleen Eilís Murphy reimagines myth and tarot through experimental printmaking, while Suzanne Carroll’s haunting paintings confront the disappearing wild, capturing echoes of vanished species. In Blanche Kirk’s mixed-media assemblages, light passes through layers of glass and acetate, evoking questions of perception, culture, and memory.
Other featured artists include Krystyna Krasowska-Cicha, whose plein air oil paintings blend spiritual reverence with natural observation; Jane Campbell, whose ceramic forms explore the architecture of inner space; and Tracy Fry, who works with print and salvaged slate to evoke the invisible forces that shape our world.
For nearly two decades, Louth Craftmark has been a vibrant force in Irish visual culture, showcasing members' work in venues such as Bloom in the Park, Showcase Ireland, Highlanes Gallery, and Powerscourt Townhouse. Now, in Reveal, Conceal, they present some of their most daring and introspective work yet.
This exhibition does not merely display—it invites. Reveal Conceal asks visitors to look closer, to feel more deeply, and to question what lies behind the visible.

Dundalk FC secured promotion back to the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division with a 3-0 win against Finn Harps at Oriel Park tonight.

Goals from Gbemi Arubi, Daryl Horgan, and Vinnie Leonard were enough to clinch the First Division title for Ciarán Kilduff's side on a memorable evening.
