The local community turned out in great numbers last Thursday for a quiz night held in Mo Chara in support of the St. Brides Mothers & Others football team’s upcoming trip to New York.
The event, which was part of a series of fundraisers, was organised to help the Knockbridge-based team cover costs such as Blitz registration fees and transport costs in New York as they prepare to represent County Louth at the New York GAA Blitz this October.
People are encouraged to follow the St. Brides Mothers & Others Facebook page HERE for updates on more fundraising events.
