Bathing ban lifted at popular Louth beach

The council say the results of the analysis confirm that the bathing water is of "excellent quality."

Louth County Council has lifted the temporary bathing prohibition at Clogherhead Beach.

This follows the results of resampling that was carried out on Tuesday, 22nd July.

The council say the results of the analysis confirm that the bathing water is of "excellent quality."

The council say they would like to thank the public for its patience and cooperation.
