The death has occurred of Anita Fitzgerald of Carlinn Heath Nursing Home, Mullaharlin Road and formerly Blackrock Abbey Nursing Home, Dundalk, Co Louth / Portrane, Co Dublin / Listowel, Co Kerry
Peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Anita will be sadly missed by her heartbroken parents Frances and Joe, brother Karl, sister Emma, Karl’s partner Leonie, Emma’s wife Erin, Uncle Johnny, Aunt Tina and Cousin Denise, her wider circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and the nurses and carers, especially Sandra within her Carlinn Heath family.
Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk on Tuesday 22 July, from 5pm-7pm. A funeral ceremony will be celebrated on Wednesday 23 July at 12 noon in the Eternity Room. Committal Service will follow at Dardistown Crematorium, Collinstown Cross, Old Airport Road, Cloghran, Co. Dublin at 3pm. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes on 042 9334521.

The death has occurred of Ann Mc Alevey (née Mostyn) of Castle Park, Dundalk, Co Louth
Peacefully, at home in the tender care of her family on Saturday 19 July 2025. Predeceased by her son Paul, parents John and Rita, brothers Brian, John and Robert, sisters Laura and Sandra. Beloved wife of Arthur and dear mother of Gerard, Aidan, Gavin, Lauri, Noleen and Emma.
Ann will be forever loved and deeply missed by her husband, sons, daughters, sons and daughters-in-law, her adored grandchildren Jordan, Ben, Scott, Lucy, Daniel, Jamie, Aaron, Grace, Caoimhe, Ava, Donnacha, Méabh and Aoibheann, brothers Eamon and Niall, sisters Joan, Rita, Catherine, Sharon and Collette, extended family relatives, neighbours and wonderful friends.
Reposing at her home in Castle Park on Tuesday from 12noon to 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.30am driving to the entrance of Fatima Drive. The funeral cortège will then proceed on foot to St. Joseph's Church, Castletown, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
