May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Kathleen Farrell (née Gray) of Marian Park, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, in her 92nd year, in the dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by her beloved husband James, daughter Rosemary, parents Michael and Josie, brothers Jim and Jackie, sister Ann and daughter-in-law Briege. She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken sons and daughters Gerard, Niall, Breda, Ann and Viv, her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Marie, brother Donny, sister-in-law Helen, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at her home on Friday 11 July from 2pm-7pm. Removal on Saturday 12 July, driving to St. Nicholas’ Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. After Mass, the cortege will proceed on foot to St. Patrick’s Cemetery for burial. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes on 042 9334521.

The death has occurred of Eileen Moran (née McGahon) of Tallanstown, Co Louth

On 8 July 2025, peacefully in the exceptional care of Le Cheile, Moorehall, Ardee. Predeceased by her husband Owen, sister Rita Duff, brothers Seamie and Tony. She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, son Pat and daughter-in-law Anna, daughters Mary McCormack (Gerry), Rita Duffy (Jimmy), Helen Dooley (Michael), Angela Matthews (Raymond), Rhoda Matthews (Mark), brothers Patsy and Junior, 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and newfound friends in Moorehall.

Reposing at her residence in Tallanstown, on Wednesday from 12 noon to 8.00 pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 10.45 am to Ss. Peter and Paul's Church, Tallanstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.00 am. Burial afterwards in new graveyard, Tallanstown.

The death has occurred of Martin Mulligan of Sliabh Breagh, Ardee, Co Louth and formerly of Raheny, Co Dublin

On 8 July 2025, peacefully at the Louth County Hospital, Dundalk. Predeceased by his parents Kay and Eddie and his brother Anthony. Sadly missed by his loving family, his wife Vivienne, children Niall and Claire, granddaughter Maddie, son-in-law Bernard, brother John, sisters Catherine and Patricia, mother-in-law Mary, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Cremation will take place in Glasnevin Crematorium on Thursday at 1.30 pm.
