The death has occurred of Jim (Jimmy) Clifford of Rockmarshall, Jenkinstown, Dundalk, and formerly O’Hanlon Park, Dundalk, Co Louth
Peacefully at the Hermitage Clinic Dublin, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday 6 July 2025. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Kate, sisters Joan, Phyllis, Noreen and Patsy and brother Gerry. A beloved husband of Nora (née O’ Hanlon), loving father of Greg, Cormac and Antoinette.
Jim will be deeply missed and remembered by his loving wife, sons, daughter, daughters-in-law Lorraine and Michelle, Antoinette’s partner Alex, his adored grandchildren Kealan, Grace, Alexa, Kieran, Ewan and Isabella, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family relatives, neighbours and wonderful friends.
Reposing at his home in Rockmarshall on Monday and Tuesday from 2pm to 8pm. Removal on Wednesday to St. Mary’s Church, Lordship, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Peacefully, in the compassionate care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on 5 July 2025. Beloved wife of Shem, cherished Mum of TJ, Joanne, Eamon, Grainne & Mary, adored Granny of Seamus, Sarah, Ruben & Molly, much loved sister of Nan, Mabel, Pat & Eamon. Dear mother-in-law of Bobby, Paul & Akiko. Predeceased by her beloved husband Shem, her son TJ, parents Ned and Mabel, brothers Micheál, Paddy and sister Úna. Mary will be dearly missed by her immediate and extended family, nieces, nephews, many friends and neighbours.

The death has occurred of Jamie Darcy of Kansas, USA and late of Jocelyn Grove, Dundalk., Dundalk, Louth
Unexpectedly at his home in Emporia, Kansas, on 16 June 2025. Deeply missed and fondly remembered by his loving parents, Jim and Briege, and by his cherished family: Conor and Anne, Liam and Paula, and Kate and Matthew. Beloved uncle to Kyle, Shay, Ava, Sarah, and Rebecca, and dear nephew to Denis, David, and Frances. Jamie’s memory will be treasured by his cousins, Aaron and Meghan, as well as by his extended family, neighbours, and many friends in both Emporia, Kansas, and his hometown of Dundalk and by all who had the good fortune to know him.
Removal on Monday afternoon from Dixons Funeral Home, Maxwell Row, Bridge St, to Dardistown Crematorium, Old Airport Road, Dublin arriving for a service at 1.30pm to celebrate his life.

Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by her beloved daughter Niamh, parents Maura and Frank and brother Joe. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing husband Benny, sons David and Ciaran, daughter Caroline, daughters-in-law Pauline and Bridget, son-in-law Tommy, grandchildren Hayley, Kelly, Isabelle, Elizabeth, James and Fenn, great-grandchildren Freddie, Felix and Florence, sisters Betty and Róisín, brothers-in-law Brian and Raymond, close cousin and best friend Catherine, her nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
