The death has occurred of Declan (Spinner) Byrne of Leixlip, Co Kildare and formerly of Dundalk, Co Louth
On 30 June, peacefully, after a long illness, in the loving care of the staff at St. James’ Hospital, Declan (Spinner), beloved husband of Helena and much-loved father of Lisa and David; sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Archie, Riley, Lana and Millie, daughter-in-law Alex, Lisa’s partner David, brother Tom, sisters Margaret and Gina, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Thursday evening between 5:30pm and 7:30pm. Removal from his home on Friday morning to the Church of St. Charles Borromeo, Confey arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by burial in Confey Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Gerard (Gerry) McCullough of Beechwood Drive, Dunleer, Co Louth
In his 77th year, peacefully at home, in the loving care of his wife Margaret (née Grimes). Gerry, loving father of Mark, John, Gerard, Richard and Andrew. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Mary and his sisters Anne, Theresa, Maureen and baby Margaret.
Sadly missed by his wife, sons, adored and cherished grandchildren Aaron, Sinead, Fae, Seamus, Lauren, Megan, Conor, Stephen, Caitlin, Finn, Oran and Sean, brothers Thomas and Sean, sister Rosemary, daughters-in-law Tracy, Jenny, Kerry, Jenny and Fran, Bernie and Phil, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, carers, nephews, nieces, partners, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer, on Thursday from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Friday morning to Saint Brigid’s Church, Dunleer arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in Dromin Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, in lieu to the Irish Kidney Association. House private on Friday please.
