May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Bridie McKay (née McHugh) of Balregan, Dundalk, Co Louth and formerly of Roughan Sooey, Co Sligo

Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Cúram Care Home, Castletown, Dundalk. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Brigid, brother Cornelius and sisters Kathleen and Margaret. She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken husband Gerard, daughter Bernadette, sons PJ, Kieran, Declan and Damian, her son-in-law Niall, daughters-in-law Elizabeth, Suzanne, Nicola and Brenda, grandchildren Shane, Sarah, Emma, Killian, Andrew, Sophie, Adam, Jack, Rachel, Jessica, Ava and Emily, brother Jim, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk on both Thursday and Friday from 3pm-8pm. Removal on Saturday from the family home to St. Brigid’s Church, Kilcurry, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes on 042 9334521.

The death has occurred of Paul (Beano) Rourke of Dundalk, Co Louth / Ashbourne, Co Meath

Paul (Beano), Loving partner of Kati. Sadly missed by his family his dear mother Lilian, sister Mandy, brother John, his extended family and his many friends.

Funeral arrangements later.

The death has occurred of Olive Duffy (née Brannigan)  of Tullycara, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan / Knockbridge, Co Louth

At the Mater Private Hospital Dublin, on Wednesday 4 June, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her parents John and Anna, her infant sons Edward and James and her sister Patty Marmion. Deeply regretted and remembered with profound love by her heart broken family, her devoted husband James, daughter Majella and son Trevor, son in-law Michael, daughter in-law Marie, her six cherished grandchildren Abby, Eoin, Dylan, Aimee, Mattie and Eddie, sister Phyllis Griffen, brother in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at the family home in Tullycara on Thursday from 3pm until 9pm and again Friday from 3pm until 9pm. Removal from the family home in Tullycara on Saturday afternoon at 1:30pm to arrive at St Mary’s Church Castleblayney for funeral mass at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. House private to family on Saturday, by request.
