Volunteers will play a vital role in helping roll out the red carpet for musicians and visitors

Louth Volunteer Centre is calling for enthusiastic community volunteers for the Leinster Fleadh 2025. It is set to take place in  Drogheda over three days this summer from 11th - 13th July 2025.

The Fleadh is expected to attract over 6,000 visitors, including 2,000+ musicians and competitors, for a weekend packed with concerts, competitions, céilís, lively sessions, Irish language events and vibrant street entertainment. Volunteers will play a vital role in helping roll out the red carpet for musicians and visitors, both from across Ireland and internationally.

Louth Volunteer Centre said: "It is with great pride that we welcome the Leinster Fleadh to Drogheda. This prestigious event celebrates Ireland’s rich musical heritage and brings together communities from across the province. We can expect unforgettable performances, camaraderie, and the true spirit of traditional Irish music.

"Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or new to the scene, there's a role for everyone — from stewarding and stage support to welcoming or directing visitors and helping with family-friendly events. You’ll be at the heart of the action, contributing to the success of a major cultural event while soaking up the electric atmosphere. There will be a Gig-Rig at Scotch Hall, with celebrated acts headlining including All Folk’d Up, Beartla O Flatharta Ceili Band, Goitse and Rapscallion.

"This festival is more than music - it's about community, heritage, and connection. Louth Volunteer Centre is proud to support an event that brings people together and highlights the very best of Irish musical culture and heritage and the famous Irish welcome.
