It was a case of a repeat prescription for success for Louth pharmacy owner Siobhán Taylor who won two prestigious awards at last weekend's Irish Pharmacy Awards.
The owner of three pharmacies in Louth, including North Road Pharmacy and Millmount Pharmacy in Drogheda, Siobhan's business won two awards at the ceremony which took place at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road.
At the highly competitive awards ceremony on Saturday night last, North Road Pharmacy won the title of Independent Community Pharmacy of the Year. Remarkably, this is the third year in a row that North Road Pharmacy has been declared a winner at the annual awards.
Millmount Pharmacy won the Business Development Award in what was a hugely successful night for the Carlingford native and her staff.
The North Road team was lauded for its local impact and continued innovation, while Millmount Pharmacy took home the award for its outstanding growth and impressive innovation.

"I'm very proud of my team in County Louth and the impact that the pharmacies are making in the communities they serve in Drogheda and Carlingford. The continued success of our stores is wholeheartedly down to the talent of the teams working in them," she enthused.
Employing more than 30 people across her three stores, Siobhán says she is proud of the continued success of her team.
"We thought nothing would surpass winning the two awards last year, but to win again, on the double, is like a dream come true. I'm so proud of the team who showed that they weren't going to rest on their laurels after last year's wins, instead, they continue to inspire me with their immense dedication and willingness to go above and beyond to deliver for our customers. I'm extremely proud and the feedback from our fantastic customers has been amazing," she added.
