Excitement is building across Louth as local GAA fans prepare to descend on Dublin for the highly anticipated Leinster Senior Football Final between Louth and Meath.
In response to soaring demand, extra train services have been added for Sunday’s big match at Croke Park, ensuring that as many fans as possible can make the journey to support the Wee County in their historic final clash.
Three special services will depart from Dundalk to Dublin Connolly, calling at Drogheda, at 10.00am, 11.00am and 12.15pm. An additional service from Drogheda to Connolly will leave at 2.10pm.
In a further boost, the scheduled 09.57am train from Drogheda to Connolly will now start earlier, departing Dundalk at 09.35am and also calling at Drogheda — offering yet another option for travelling supporters.

Returning home after the final whistle, fans will have a choice of three evening trains leaving Dublin Connolly for Dundalk, stopping in Drogheda at 6.55pm, 7.35pm and 7.55pm.
Tickets for some of these trains are available for purchase online, while others can be bought directly at Dundalk Train Station.
