Dundalk Chamber of Commerce shortlisted for national awards

Dundalk Chamber of Commerce has been shortlisted in a number of categories in this year's 2025 Chamber Awards, set to take place this year on Thursday 5 June at the Killashee Hotel, Naas, Co Kildare.

The Awards seek to recognise the outstanding work of affiliated Chambers around the country while providing a platform for Chambers to share and promote how active and engaged they are across several different area. Awards will be presented for excellence in eight different categories and one Chamber will be awarded the overall award of Chamber of the Year.

Dundalk Chamber has been shortlisted in the following categories:

  • Best International Project
  • Community Support Initiative
  • Sustainability & Biodiversity

Commenting on the reveal of the shortlist, Ian Talbot, Chambers Ireland Chief Executive said: “Chambers across the country are active participants in the development of our regions, our towns, our communities – the places we call our own. The Chamber Awards is a celebration of how Chambers place business at the heart of their communities.

"Through their work in supporting local economic development, Chambers take the lead in launching innovative campaigns, projects and policy proposals. Our goal in hosting this national awards ceremony is to promote this creativity and hard work.

"Local Chambers collectively promote Ireland’s business competitiveness through a variety of creative projects and activities, particularly through the brilliant events they run which highlight what their local areas have to offer and attract local people and international visitors alike.

"We look forward to the awards ceremony in June and I would like to wish all of the shortlisted Chamber applicants the very best of luck.”
