Cathaoirleach of Dundalk Municipal District Sean Kelly opening the book
Louth County Council have opened Books of Condolence around the county following the death of Pope Francis, who passed away on Easter Monday.
The Books of Condolence are now open to the public at County Hall and the Town Hall in Dundalk, as well as the Civic Offices in Drogheda.
A further book will open at the library in Ardee today while an online book is available here
Opening the book of condolence in Dundalk, Cathaoirleach of Dundalk Municipal District Sean Kelly said:

“This afternoon as Cathaoirleach of Dundalk I opened a book of condolence for our late Holy Father, Pope Francis, in the presence of the Parish Priest Fr Mark O’Hagan at the Town Hall on Crowe Street.
“This book will be available for the people of Dundalk and surrounding areas to sign from 9.30am to 5.00pm daily for the rest of this week. Please let family, friends and neighbours know.”
