Dunleer Tidy Towns completed their garden of Remembrance  on Ardee Road in Dunleer in 2023. An extension to that garden is now in the planning stage.  It will include the triangle of grass in the centre of the road and re alignment of the road to facilitate this extension.

It will remember those who died in the two World Wars in the area and will have a walkway and a hedging, shrubs, seats and a pathway through the new area.

The Dunleer Tidy Towns propose to have a public consultation taking place in the Market House Dunleer on Thursday 27th February 2025 at 7.30pm.

All who are interested are invited to attend and make submissions for the new garden.
