The death has occurred of Alan Gormley of Park Avenue, Dundalk, Co Louth
Pacefully at home on Saturday 18 January 2025. Alan, much loved husband of Roisin née Murphy, dear father of Liam and brother of the late Billy, and Betty Fornaciai. Alan will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and very good friends.

Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Beloved wife of the late Donald, dear mammy to Jennifer, Mary, Noel, Elizabeth, Donald, Joseph, Daniel and her daughter Mary and son Peter who were “born angels”, daughter of the late Eileen and Joseph and sister of Lenny, Bridgie and the late Johnny, Peter, Paul (Bilko), Ann, Dessie and Jojo. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing daughters and sons, son-in-law Brendan, daughter-in-law Christina, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk. Removal on Monday 20 January to St Nicholas’ Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 1.30pm. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes on 042 9334521.
