The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Bella) Jones (née Meegan) of Drumboat, Inniskeen, Co Monaghan/ Inniskeen, Co Louth
Peacefully on Sunday 5 January 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family, following a long illness borne with great dignity and strength. Cherished wife of the late Peter (Petie) and predeceased by daughter Ann, parents James and Mary-Ellen, brother Petie, sisters Rose McArdle, Molly McGinnity and Anna Quigley.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons Eamon, Peader, Dermot and daughters Marie (McKevitt), Linda (Jones Cowley); sons-in-law Noel, Shane and daughters-in-law Marian, Ailish and Pauline; her brother Tommy and dear sister Teresa McEnteggart, sisters-in-law Kitty and Crissie; her adored 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her residence from Monday 6 January, 1pm to 10pm and on Tuesday 7 January, from 1pm to 9pm. Removal from residence at 10.30am, Wednesday 8 January arriving for 11am Requiem Mass in Mary Mother of Mercy Church, Inniskeen. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Inniskeen.

The death has occurred of Don McQuillan of Drummartin, Goatstown, Co Dublin / Dundalk, Co Louth
Peacefully in Blackrock Hospice, Co Dublin on 4 January 2025. Don, loving husband of Brigid née McManus, dear father of Siobhan, Kevin, Niamh, and Maeve, adored grandad of Maicin, Bronwyn, Conor, Maeve, Graoch, Euan, Milos, and Tess, great-grandad of Lucca and Lochlan, father-in-law of Archie, Patricia, Gerry and Kryztof, son of the late Peter and Ann and brother of the late Freda, Felix, Bob, Jack, Peter, Tom, and Danny. Don will be sadly missed by his family, relatives and friends.

Former Principal of Dundalk Grammar School. Died peacefully in Mater Hospital surrounded by his loving family on 4 January 2025. Paddy, much loved husband of Martha née Sheehan, dear father of Fergus, Darragh and Ken loving grandad of Sadhbh, Lonán, Jamie, Cole, Saul, Dagda, and Ona, father-in-law of Irena, Lesley and Michelle and brother of Brian, Maura, Terry, Sheila, Declan and the late Pearse. He will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends.
Reposing at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street from 3pm until 7pm on Monday. Removal on Tuesday morning from his home to Church of the Holy Family arriving for Mass at 11am.
