Second meeting on plans to relaunch 2nd Louth Blackrock Scout Group

Meeting to take place on Wednesday 6 November

Following an information in October to help relaunch the 2nd Louth Blackrock Scout Group in the Blackrock/Haggardstown & surrounding area, Scouting Ireland is holding a follow up meeting for adults only, on Wednesday 6 November in the Geraldines at 7.30pm.

Scouting Ireland Development Support Officer for the North Eastern Province, Mr Peter O'Brien, has forwarded a message to those who are interested in attending. It reads as follows:

"On behalf of the Community and Scouting Ireland I would like to thank you for taking the time to attend the presentation on scouting in the Geraldines on Monday 21st last.
"With expression of interest that we received at that presentation I would like to invite you to a further meeting to explore the process that might be adopted to relaunch the 2nd Louth Blackrock Scout Group in the area.
"At this meeting we would explore the necessary steps required to relaunch the 2nd Louth Blackrock in the area. We would outline in detail the role and commitment of the leader and we will try to establish if there is a core of adults willing to train as leaders.
"The meeting will take place on Wednesday 6th November in the Geraldines at 7.30pm. If you know of any other adults who have expressed an interest in the project and were unable to attend the presentation, please do encourage them to attend this meeting.
"If you have any queries on this meeting, Scouting in General or are unable to attend this particular date please do not hesitate to contact me on the number below
Thanks
Peter"
