The death has occurred of Tom McDERMOTT Rampark, Jenkinstown, Dundalk, Louth

Peacefully, in his 95th year, in the dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his father Thomas and mother Cecelia, his wife Vera and son Vincent, his brother Seán and sisters May, Lena, Rita, Sheila and Frances. He will be sadly missed by his wife Gemma, children Miriam, Tom, Paul, Joann and Patrick, sons-in-law Francis and Paul, daughters-in-law Rebecca, Fiona and Joan, brother Michael (Connecticut), sisters Irene (Boston) and Joan, grandchildren Emma, Katie, Órla, Daniel, Ellie, Lana, Sean, Lexi, Harry, Finn, Cian, Jack, Ronan and Leah, his nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home (EircodeA91 T278) from 4pm-8pm on Wednesday, July 3rd and from 3pm-6pm on Thursday, July 4th, with removal at 6.30pm to St. Mary's Church, Lordship, (Eircode A91 HP76), arriving at 6.45pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, July 5th, at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Lordship Cemetery.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Maria Goretti Foundation.

The death has occurred of Kathleen Copas (née Hughes) 34 Lennon Melia Tce., Dundalk, Louth, A91 Y6Y1

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family in her daughter’s residence, Carlingford. Beloved wife of the late Patrick. Adored mother to Pauline, Noeleen, Geraldine, Bernadette & Elaine. pre-deceased by her parents Bridget & James , sisters Maura & Phyllis and son-in-law Aidan. Kathleen will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughters, 21 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Eamonn & Séan, nieces, nephews extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved her.

Reposing at her home tomorrow Wednesday and Thursday from 3pm until 8pm. Removal on Friday morning at 10.30am arriving for 11am Funeral Mass in St. Nicholas Church, followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery, Ravensdale. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Niall Kehoe, Dixons, Funeral Directors 042 93 34240.
