Dundalk gardaí are investigating an incident of an attempted burglary that occurred at the Miracle Land Church on Castletown Road, Dundalk.
The incident took place between 7pm on Tuesday 6th of December and 9am the following morning, Wednesday 7th December.
It is understood that the front door was badly damaged as the burglars attempted and failed to break in.
It is however believed the suspects did gain entry to three portable cabins on the site.
No belongings were reported as taken in the course of this incident.
No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
Gardai are urging anyone with information or anyone who witnessed any unusual activity in the area at the time to contact Dundalk Garda Station on 042 938 8416.
