Dundalk councillor Sean Kelly
Drug dealing to the rear of one of the estates on St Nicholas Avenue was brought up by Fianna Fail Councillor Sean Kelly at Tuesday’s meeting of Dundalk Joint Policing Committee (JPC).
According to Councillor Kelly:
“There are gangs gathering there on a regular basis and it is believed drug dealing is taking place and anti-social behaviour and rows are breaking out.”
Councillor Kelly further queried whether it would be possible for gardai to have regular patrols in the area to deter any unsavoury activity, which he said was particularly prevalent on days when the weather was good.
