Planning permission for 257 home development outside Dundalk extended until 2021

A large housing development in Haynestown, Dundalk may still be on the cards, following the news that Louth County Council have granted an extension to planning permission for a 257 home development at a site in the area.

Groveview Builders had been granted planning permission in 2015 for a development of 257 homes, consisting of 61 two-bed, two storey dwellings; 100 three bedroom, two storey dwellings; 62 three bedroom, two storey dwellings and 34 four bedroom two storey dwellings.

An application to extend planning permission was made in July of this year, with a decision to grant the extension made yesterday.

The extension was granted to December 31, 2021.
