Public meeting to be held in Louth as part of Parkinson's Awareness Week

As part of Parkinson's Awareness Week the Louth/Meath branch of the Parkinson's Association of Ireland are holding a public meeting in the Boyne Valley Hotel, Drogheda on Monday April 8 at 7.30 pm.

Speaker on the night will be Dr Conor Kerley, registered dietitian and nutrition researcher who will speak about 'Nutrition and Parkinson's'. Conor has expertise in the effect of nutrition on neurological conditions such as Parkinson's, and will be able to provide practical examples on the types and timing of foods to help people to manage their condition.

Fergus O'Dowd TD will attend and address the meeting as part of Parkinson's Awareness Week.

Admission is free and tea/coffee will be served on the night.
