Tonight's horse racing meeting at Dundalk Stadium was abandoned due to what has been described as a "serious medical incident".
According to Racing TV a member of the Turf Club security team collapsed in the winner's enclosure after the second race.
A medical team rushed to the man's aid and he was taken to hospital after some time.
