House prices fall slightly in Louth during last quarter of 2018

Daft.ie House Price Report Q4 2018

House prices in Louth fell by €4,443 during the last quarter of the year, according to the latest House Price Report released today by Irish property website, daft.ie.

The average house price in Louth is now €215,274, down from €219,717 three months previously.

According to the report, prices in the county are 5% higher than the same period last year. This is lower than the rise of 11% seen a year ago.

The Daft.ie Report is based on an analysis of the full database of properties posted for advertisement on Daft.ie up to October 2018.

Average price figures are calculated from econometric regressions using standard methods. Properties classed as sold are those that are no longer listed on Daft.ie which were marked as sale agreed before coming off the site.
