A 38 year old woman accused of being involved in an aggravated burglary, is to have her case dealt with at Circuit Court level.

Tammy Bracken with an address at Castle Court, Castlebellingham is charged committing a burglary at house at Woodview Park, Dundalk on November 22nd last year while having with her a wooden stick.

Sgt. Fintan McGroder told the court that the DPP has directed prosecution on indictment and had also consented to a send forward on a signed guilty plea.

However, after the Defence solicitor informed the court “that won’t be happening” Judge John Coughlan put back the case to the 27th of February and extended time for service of a book of evidence.

A co-accused in the case Derek Brady also of Castle Court, Castlebellingham whose burglary charge related to allegedly having a fire extinguisher with him, had the case against him struck out after Sgt. McGroder told the court that the DPP had directed no prosecution.
