Breathnach confirms roundabout at Scoil Uí Mhuirí Dunleer to be adjusted for larger vehicles

Fianna Fáil TD Declan Breathnach has confirmed that he wrote to Louth County Council regarding issues raised by concerned farmers and local hauliers who were worried that the remodelled roundabout at Scoil Uí Mhuirí Dunleer was not a sufficient size for large vehicles and farm machinery.

“I have received confirmation from Louth County Council that adjustments have been agreed with the designers and made to the entry widths to facilitate the larger vehicles as previously identified", said Deputy Breathnach.

"The works are being carried out under contract to LMETB, however, I have been advised that works are currently stalled due to contractual issues.

“I am happy that the way has been paved to reaching a solution to facilitate the people who use this road at the roundabout daily", he concluded.
